We enter the business end of the QPR Prediction League for 2018/19 with Phase 3 - the final phase - now underway
Bristol City's 2-1 win was exactly predicted by stoatey, surrey chad and myself. Nobody got Smith as first scorer; perhaps we all thought he was going to be rested.
ashqpr, CutePR, e17hoop, MaxQPR and LurkR got the first goal time of just before half time
Ghost was the only player who got the bonus match correct for the second match in a row which a superb call of 0-0
We already look set for a cracking title race with surrey chad again making a fast start, like he has in Phase 1 and 2 previously, scoring 6 to take the lead on goal difference from QPRBex whose bonus points have come in handy in keeping him in touch after a low score of 1.
LurkR was the top scorer this round with 7 points and that is good enough for 3rd place. qprallan who was top in Phase 2 drops to 4th but all 4 players have just 1 point between them.
At the other end stoatey has made a good start after promotion with 6 points putting him 7th. savoyhoop forgot to enter for the first time all season and is 10th, only above QPRsmith thanks to his 2 bonus points from Phase 2.
In Division 2 my 6 points put me top at this very early stage and ashqpr sees his 6 points good enough to take him out of his negative points and in to the play off places already due to the overall low scoring. Rosco Bosco is also out of his negative adjustment, now sitting on 1 point.
minxymartin failed to score for a startling 7th consecutive game and is 2nd bottom, only kept off the bottom by onenightfever who is making up lost ground after starting on -6. onenightfever has at least cut that down to -2 already trying to make up for a poor Phase 2. kingfisher makes up the bottom 3 having himself only now scored 5 points in the last 7 games and after relegation finds himself in the bottom 3 already albeit on goal difference.
If you are still in the FA Cup competition remember to enter by Friday and we play every Tuesday over the next few weeks so don't forget to enter!
