QPR returned to losing ways against Brentford and it was a 3-0 defeat called bang on the money by singlespeed, superb predicting!
8 players (kingfisher, stoatey, Ghost, e17hoop, ranger-boy, Rosco Bosco, surrey chad and MCM Hoop) got Maupay as the odds-on first scorer but it was perhaps lucky he got the chance to score from the spot!
CutePR and QPRsmith did well getting the lesser seen first goal time of just after half time
MaxQPR, MCM Hoop, SydneyR and onenightfever got Reading's 2-1 away win at Ipswich exact in the bonus match
In the end nobody scored more than 9 points despite so many correct predictions but with 7 players scoring 9 it was a round with a big impact
surrey chad was one of those with 9 points and he is the new leader, returning to the summit once again. Ghost also scored 9 to bounce back up to 2nd having gone from 2nd to 4th last time out. Previous leader LurkR sees a 2 point lead turn into 3rd place.
qprallan who led 2 matches ago and who led at the end of Phase 2 has failed to score for 2 matches in a row and is now down to 4th and 5 points off the top 3.
MCM Hoop and stoatey both scored 9 to jump 2 places apiece to 5th and 6th respectively. e17hoop rounds off a good week with 9 points too and he is up to 8th and out of the relegation play off place. It is QPRBex who tumbles down to that 9th place; a fall of 4 places. QPRBex is perhaps lucky to have 13 bonus points at this stage having only picked up 4 points in actual play. He'd be 10th and a long way from safety without them. savoyhoop is lost without a trace and is a get out of jail card now really for those in the top tier with savoyhoop looking certain to take 1 of the 2 automatic relegation places ahead of next season.
In Division 2 the top 2 ranger-boy and Rosco Bosco each scored 9 points to both move 6 points clear in the automatic promotion spots. kingfisher is up 2 places to 3rd behind them after getting his 1st correct goal scorer prediction of the season. It's as you were in the bottom half with the top 2 already looking some way ahead but with the play-off places available there is plenty to play for.
We go again next Saturday - finally we have a midweek off ahead!
