Win, Lose & Draw - Week 29 - RESULTS

After a couple of weeks where points were very hard to come by, week 29 saw better scoring. Nearly everyone picked up some points.
The hardest prediction to find was the draw, with only one in the ten matches. Only kingfisher and QPRBex predicted Bournemouth v Newcastle for 2 points each.
There were 5 home wins but the one that gave up the most points was Preston beating Birmingham, correctly predicted by QPRBex, MCM Hoop, LurkR, kensalr and me. Only Rosco Bosco picked Villa to beat Middlesborough and only northwesthoop picked Sheffield Wednesday to beat Blackburn. No-one picked Burton or Shrewsbury. 6 players missed out due to Leeds failing to beat Sheffield United.
The most profitable prediction this week was Brentford losing to West Brom with 7 players getting this one right: kingfisher, LurkR, qprallan, MCM Hoop, CutePR, ashqpr and minxymartin. Points were also scored by QPRSmith, kensalr and SydneyR for Burnley's defeat by Leicester and by ranger-boy for Peterborough's loss to Coventry. No-one picked Leeds to lose to Sheffield Utd.
No-one got 8 points this week but 5 players scored 5: LurkR, MCM Hoop, kingfisher, kensalr and QPRBex. Well done!
At the top, LurkR's return to form sees him extend his lead to 3 points. I remain 2nd and join LurkR in the 100+ club. MCM Hoop is back up to 3rd, 5 points ahead of singlespeed who drops to 4th after forgetting to enter.
At the bottom, ranger-boy and QPRSmith each picked up 2 points to close the gap on surrey chad and stoatey, who were the only 2 fail to score this week. The 4 of them are only separated by 3 points.
We now have a week off due to the international break. Predictions for week 30 are needed by 10am on Saturday 30th.
