Sherwood is just so arrogant that even if they offered him the job he'd wait to make sure we weren't going down before accepting.
Despite being out of work for 4 years he probably already sees the Championship below him so he certainly won't commit if there is a chance we could be in League 1.
I'm still convinced Sherwood isn't even in the frame and it just remains an easy name to tout for the QPR job.

I agree, give him a shot, we've been in roughly the same position for 4 years so let's see what he can do. I much prefer the idea of him to any of the standard names in the running.

Dave McIntyre - usually a reliable journalist - has pretty much rubbished the Almeida rumours. That said I feel Almeida's name is too unknown to have come from nowhere.
I think it’s pretty much Appleton now The idea of an foreign manager coming out from nowhere being the next pep guardiola is pretty slim But it sounded a great idea at the time It’s Sherwood or Appleton now and that’s it Wagner would of been great a manager for us and so would many others but we dont choose or pay them
