It is a sign of how bad things are that we had 3 correct 4-0 defeat predictions for the Norwich match from qprallan, MaxQPR and ranger-boy. Superb predictions really as it's not often 4-0 is ever correct!
Only e17hoop and minxymartin failed to predict a QPR humbling
Nobody got Buendía as first scorer but singlespeed, ranger-boy, surrey chad, Ghost and LurkR all got the very early first goal time
singlespeed stays top of Division 1 and nudges a point further clear of LurkR moving into a 4 point lead.
Ghost was the only played to predict Sheffield United's 1-0 away win at Preston exact in the bonus match and stays in contention for back to back titles, moving up 1 place to 3rd and 6 points off the top. surrey chad needed to score 7 just to stay in the hunt himself despite dropping a place to 4th. There is a bit of a gap now MCM Hoop 8 points further back in 5th so with just 6 games to go it looks like the title will be going to one of the current top 4.
qprallan moves above e17hoop into 7th but e17hoop has a 9 point cushion over QPRBex who stays in the relegation play off spot despite scoring more than 1 point for the first time in 7 games. QPRsmith is a further 7 points back in 10th.
In Division 2 we have a new leader with ranger-boy hitting double figures as the highest scorer overall this round. It is the first time ranger-boy has scored double points since Match 3 of the season. Previous leader Rosco Bosco is currently 2nd but will drop to 3rd tomorrow night as CutePR or ashqpr will be picking up 10 points in the FA Cup so either will move ahead of Rosco Bosco in the last automatic promotion spot. For now though they sit 4th and 5th as MaxQPR jumped up 2 places to 3rd.
onenightfever forgot to enter but minxymartin could not capitalise and looks set for a second consecutive wooden spoon as things stand.
