A real 6 pointer that Millwall will relish I’m only looking at Rotherham’s results now and reading Drop eze and play BOS,eze is lazy he just let Norwich players run past him and made no effort, jogged around like a training session Lynch is absolute useless,he dont deserve to wear the blue and white hoops again, lazy and disinterested A draw is the only result we could get if we turn up But it will be yet another defeat on the road and if Rotherham win we could be 2 points above relegation zone Just like to say big respect to the away fans that follow QPR that put up with the dire showings we always seem to put on We are not as bad as we appear but we deserve to go down if we’re honest based on this year’s performances We started awful,we then had that great run that has kept our heads above water so far,we may perform a miracle but next season will be much the same
We need to now play those players who are going to be here next season and those who actually try.
Look at Cousins yesterday. He almost didn't make one tackle or pass in the entire game. He's out of contract, he probably knows he's leaving, he doesn't care. I'm no big fan of Scowen but at least he puts some effort in.
Leistner needs to start. Scowen and Luongo in midfield. BOS and even Shodipo on the wings to put crosses in for Smith.
Needs must. Get back to basics. Be competitive.
As for other teams Rotherham have a very tough match against Villa who are flying and all the way up to 5th.
Looking at northwesthoop's wish list above it is along the same as line as mine. We are short on players (both in terms of height and availability) and that is why I have (reluctantly) opted for Freeman, as I feel he surely cannot be as bad ever again:
Lumley Kakay Furlong Leistner Manning [assuming Bidwell is still injured] Wszolek Luongo Scowen Freeman [Wszolek will protect a vulnerable Kakay & Freeman just gets in] BOS Wells [assuming Wells' reported groin strain is OK, otherwise Smith]
We have proven we cannot outjump or outhead or better control high balls than most other teams, so we need to play the ball up the field and hunt for the ball in pairs. For me, Cameron is too laboured and I would have swapped him and Hall if the latter was available to fill that crucial link between defence and attack. (If we get really desperate then I would almost consider playing Lynch there!) The big problem is that Eustace has only 2 days to revitalise the squad and prepare the starting eleven for Millwall. I feel he will fall back on known 'starters' out of fear at bringing in too many fringe players. (Cue Hemed, Eze, Cameron & Lynch...)
Millwall haven’t won consecutive games since New Year’s Day We can nick a draw if we turn up Millwall very direct and play some nice football Neil Harris taken to management Like a duck to water I expect the usual though but you never know there could be a shock And then I woke up But next home game is Swansea they had against stoke last night first half hour 72% possession and 16 shots It don’t get no better im afraid for us It’s incredible how poor this league is we’ve one once this year and we are only 6 points behind Brentford in 13th If we survive then we got lucky and that’s no understatement The 23 points in 11 games is what might save us and that was title winning form some pundits have said It’s been tough this year and how we will get at least one more win and a draw I never know, but that’s what we need to be certain
As long as reading who have got Norwich away and Rotherham have got Villa don’t win then any points we can get will be a bonus We lose and Rotherham win we’re in the brown stuff But the pundits say Rotherham will just be ok and reading will go down They are terrible home and away
To darken the clouds of doom....it is reported that Hall's groin strain and Luongo's unknown illness continue, so they are unlikely candidates for selection. Both are needed, but not if unfit.
P.S. As I am driving the breadth of Spain on match day I, for one, would appreciate a match report if anyone is going. What you get in the Sunday papers is next worthless!

Leistner has to start tonight. He is our only decent centre back and at the end of the season he will be our only centre back who has a contract. If he isn't picked to start tonight then he must have done something to upset someone.
