For so long it looked like a low scoring 0-0 round. In the end it finished 2-0 and was the highest total scoring round of the season!
stoatey, Ghost, LurkR, surrey chad, MCM Hoop and QPRsmith got the 2-0 defeat exact (stoatey thanks to a second entry treated as an edit)
stoatey, QPRsmith, LurkR, e17hoop, ashqpr, surrey chad, ranger-boy, onenightfever and SydneyR got Wilson as a popular pick as first scorer
minxymartin got the very late first goal time which is rarely the winner so a great call!
QPRsmith also got the bonus match 2-0 exact so was only the goal time away from a full house!
The end result is pretty much chaos with 5 players scoring double points and nobody failing to score! We have a new leader in both divisions with just 2 games to go as 5 play...
LurkR was one of those with double points bagging 12 points to leapfrog singlespeed and take charge in the title race. A 7 point deficit has turned into a 2 point lead. surrey chad scored 12 to move up into 3rd and 10 points from the title which is more than possible. stoatey, who has had a superb Phase 3 following promotion, scored 13 to move to 4th. Reigning champion Ghost drops below them both to 5th.
At the other end of the table QPRsmith scored the best total of the round with an impressive season best equalling 15 points to move from a position of no hope to lots of hope! He is now only 2 points away from QPRBex in the battle to avoid automatic relegation and to take the relegation play off place instead. e17hoop scored well with 9 points to move up to 7th leaving qprallan as the next player QPRBex and QPRsmith are chasing. qprallan has a 7 point cushion over QPRBex.
In Division 2 the new leader is ranger-boy who was the only player to hit double figures in the second tier. ashqpr stays 2nd meaning previous leader Rosco Bosco now drops out of the automatic promotion places to 3rd.
SydneyR is the last player to get a first scorer correct this season at the 44th time of asking and bags 9 points overall. That is enough to keep SydneyR in contention for the automatic promotion places.
onenightfever equals his best score of the season with 9 points to move above me and to within 8 points of avoiding a wooden spoon. minxymartin is 10 points adrift at the bottom.
