Win, Lose & Draw - Week 35 - 2018/19 Final Results

So here are the final results for the first season of Win, Lose & Draw. Going into the last week we had a few issues to settle.
Starting at the top, LurkR was 2 points ahead going into the last round and he held onto that lead with 5 points for correctly predicting Brentford's win and Reading's draw. He needed all those 5 points as I also scored 5 for Wigan's win and Reading's draw. So congratulations to LurkR - a worthy winner after leading the way for most of the season. It's been a bit like Man City and Liverpool with LurkR hanging on to that small lead round after round.
The battle for 3rd place had one final twist. singlespeed picked up 5 points to pip MCM Hoop by a single point. Well done singlespeed and hard luck MCM Hoop, who had been 3rd for most of the season only to miss out in the last week. Rosco Bosco and northwesthoop both scored 5 points to end up 5th & 6th, just 2 points behind singlespeed.
So remarkably, the top 3 are the same as the Prediction Competition but in a slightly different order. LurkR is certainly the king predictor for 2018/19, winning both.
There was a final twist in the race to avoid last place too. ranger-boy was bottom going into the final round but managed his best round for 4 months, scoring 5 points to jump 2 places. That left QPRSmith who failed to score with the wooden spoon. surrey chad forgot to enter but got away with it, finishing one point ahead of QPRSmith.
