Here is the final Dream R's update of the season 2018/19, to take into account the final 3 matches - matches 51, 52 and 53 of the campaign.
Heading into the final few games qpralison was in pole position with a 40 point cushion over bplatt23. Could she maintain it?
The answer is yes and qpralison is the 2018/19 Dream R's champion with her side "Adisham Hitmen"!
A 40 point lead ended up as a comfortable 44 point buffer. qpralison sat 2nd and 3rd in the first part of the season but bringing in Furlong, Hemed and Wells in the transfer window was inspired management and made the difference in the title fight. Congratulations qpralison! bplatt23 takes the silver medal 40 points clear of LurkR who couldn't quite make it a treble after his victories in the QPR Prediction League and 'Win, Lose & Draw'. Rosco Bosco in 4th was just 6 points away from the bronze medal.
Last season's champion Ghost ended up 15th. The other 2 names from the top 3 last season QPRsmith and SydneyR ended up 23rd and 29th. A fall from grace somewhat!
musti who was leader in 7 of the 13 updates this season ended up 7th, hampered by a lack of transfer activity. The rest of the top 10 remained unchanged over the last 3 games.
The bottom 3 remained the same in the last few months so savoyhoop, spindle2k and petewilliams collect the wooden spoons. petewilliams side "Loftus Pete" were bottom all season long!
The awards are all below in the next posts.
In terms of the QPR players themselves Luke Freeman was the top scorer for the 2nd season in a row, ending up with 502 points. Eze was second on 436 and Lumley third on 424. Lumley was a key component this season as only 16% of teams selected him to begin with and that was costly for everybody who didn't!
Josh Scowen was the 2nd highest scoring player last season but was only 8th this campaign.
Here is the full list of player scores:
And here is the 2018/19 Dream R's Final Table:
