It is getting closer and closer to those pre-season friendlies and then the real thing, and a tweet on how someone saw the starting eleven currently led me to create this thread. Here is their selection:
Lumley/Kelly
Furlong Leistner Barbet Wallace
Smith Amos
Oteh/Smyth Eze Chair
?
The question mark is for that still elusive striker, although it does seem as if moves are afoot (as Sherlock Holmes would say)! My biggest concern with this selection is Eze in the 'dropped 10' position. I feel it is his best position but worry he just wont do enough to make the most of it. This is definitely his 'make or break' season and I hope he does well.
So, where does this leave Scowen and Hall, for example, and what is your current thinking on the starting eleven you envisage?

I think the problem with us Yes that’s a good line up but we leave ourselves short when there’s injuries and suspensions We have no strength in depth and that seems to catch us out every season We now need 2 strikers and I’m hoping that’s addressed soon

I agree with all you said and I would add that, giving Warburton's style of play, those other members of the squad need to be equally capable of playing the ball out and holding onto possession (even under pressure). Exciting times ahead!
