Todd Kane - Another Defender

He is primarily a Right Back, so that is why we would be interested in another defender I suppose.

How can somebody be at Chelsea until the age of 25 and we've never heard of them!?

He played 41 times for Hull so should be good for this division and for Chelsea to have held on to him for this long there must be something about him! I'm just puzzled why they have kept him until he was 25 and he'd just been out on loan every year of his career. Bizarre!

He sounds like a good replacement for Darnell

He’s a reliable player at this level and still young enough

3 year deal so hopefully he can now settle down and enjoy his career rather than being out on loan.

As I said he must be decent for Chelsea to hang on to him until he is 25! They gave him a new deal at 22.

He's only slightly older than Furlong, knows this league and we've made a profit. Great business in hindsight. I criticised the Furlong sale at the time but it makes sense now.

I know his performances are up and down but (whisper it quietly) I quite like Kane.

I always feel there is more to come. He is sometimes perhaps trying too hard.

True and part of that ability to make that crosses come from taking on players along the wing or moving past them.
