A very tricky game especially after a recent defeat Rumours are warburton may give Kelly a go in goal after Lumleys error on Saturday Kelly is a good keeper but he is a bit of a livewire and you don’t know what you are going to get from him Reminds me a bit of paddy Kenny sometimes Swansea will play like we do now and should be a good game to watch Just hope we can recover and get back on track again Come on rangers
It will be a brave choice by Warburton because he will be in the firing line if he does choose Kelly and Kelly then makes a mistake himself!
It should be a good footballing game but that could also make it quite tight and tactical with both clubs trying to do the same thing.
I personally think he will stick with Lumley but expect Kane to start over Rangel. I also fancy he may bring in Pugh. I expect Smith will definitely drop out, but whether that is for Scowen, Chair or Pugh is up for debate!
I also wonder if Ball will replace Cameron who usually struggles with 3 games in a week?
I'd go:
Kelly Kane Hall Barbet Manning Amos Cameron BOS Eze Pugh Hugill

Good point about Cameron's energy levels and the same must also apply for Rangel I would have thought, so I would expect Kane & Ball/Scowen to be introduced. I tend to agree with Single that Kelly deserves a place over Lumley, partly because of Lumley's error and partly because Kelly played well midweek. Up front there surely has to be a place for Illias Chair, and should Wells replace Hugill? Nice to have the choices but not so nice in making the all-important team selection...
Lumley is a good shot stopper But he tends to struggle playing it out from the back Kelly is good at playing the ball out with his feet to others It’s a tough call as Kelly is a smaller keeper and is a bit unpredictable I think what northwest has said,warburton will stick with Lumley Swansea will press and the ball will need to be played out quickly and accurately to other players
Lots of valid points about both Lumley and Kelly but for my money Lumley is the better goalkeeper. If I was Warburton I'd stick with Lumley.I know we have only seen Kelly play a couple of times in pre season and a cup game but my initial impression is that his positioning isn't as good as Lumley. Neither goalie is heavy set and both are on the slight side but whilst Kelly is 6ft 2in when you see him up against 6ft 5in Lumley he does look a lot smaller.
Rangel will definitely be rested tonight and whilst I prefer Cameron to Ball or Scowen I can also see Warburton thinking of playing Amos alongside Smith. BOS was our best player against Bristol but Chair certainly did well when he came on and deserves a starting place. I also prefer Wells to Hugill but Warburton only currently has eyes for the West Ham loanee.
I think Warburton will go with the folowing;
Lumley Kane, Hall, Barbet,Manning Amos, Smith BOS,Chair,Eze Hugill
Swansea look silky smooth on the ball attacking But their defence is a bit open at times I think we got to try to not think we can play exactly the same as them Swansea have played the same for many seasons and we haven’t I can’t see anything other a narrow defeat im afraid

Despite us all thinking he will start Kane I wonder if he will give Rangel once more chance against his old team? He played like a man possessed against them at the back end of last season when we won 4-0!
