In the 10 matches we had 3 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats for the home sides. So plenty of chances to pick up points.
And plenty of points were scored for the wins thanks to Cardiff beating Middlesborough, predicted by: kensalr, stoatey, northwesthoop, qprallan, kingfisher, CupePR and QPRsmith. But nobody got the wins for West Ham and Wigan.
It was similar story on the home losses. Chelsea's defeat by Liverpool was predicted by northwesthoop, Ghost, MCM Hoop and QPRBex. But nobody got Birmingham's or Luton's defeats.
All the draws were predicted by 1 or 2 players. northwesthoop and QPRsmith got Palace v Wolves; ashqpr got Newcastle v Brighton; ranger-boy got Bristol City v Swansea and stoatey got Sheff Wed v Fulham.
Having waited 6 weeks for our first maximum 8 points, we had another in week 7. Step forward northwesthoop who expertly predicted Cardiff to win, Chelsea to lose and Palace to draw. This moves him from 10th up to 3rd, just 1 point off the top of the table.
Somehow, kingfisher hangs onto top spot with only 2 points across the last 2 weeks. But it's only on goal difference from stoatey, whose 5 points move him from 6th to 2nd. One point further back we have northwesthoop, ashqpr and qprallan. That's the top 5 separated by only one point.
At the bottom, singlespeed forgot to enter but those above him didn't really capitalise, mostly getting 0 or 2 points. The big exception was QPRsmith, whose 5 points lift him from 16th to 13th.
