We are into the final 3 games of Phase 1 of the season with relegation and promotion ever so close now!
Well done to singlespeed for predicting the 2-2 scoreline - the only player to go for anything other than a QPR win, a superb call.
Shall I name those who didn't get Wells as first scorer? It is probably easier... qprallan, singlespeed, QPRsmith, Rosco Bosco, minxymartin QPRBex, ranger-boy and MaxQPR were those who went for other players but QPRsmith at least gets the back up point for predicting Hugill
Ghost, e17hoop, CutePR, QPRBex, QPRsmith, MCM Hoop, ranger-boy, SydneyR and qprallan got the 16-30 first goal time
Preston and Leeds drew 1-1 so stoatey, qprallan, SydneyR, LurkR, surrey chad and CutePR all pick up the full 3 bonus points.
The top scorers were SydneyR and CutePR with 12 points each and they now sit in the top 2 positions in Division 2. SydneyR has a huge 15 point lead over 4th place and is pretty much guaranteed promotion now with just 2 games to go. CutePR hadn't scored more than 7 points in a game for over a year prior to getting 13 on Saturday and now bags 12 tonight! She rises another 2 places and is 3 points clear of kingfisher who drops to 3rd but holds on to the final promotion place. Myself and ashqpr are a point behind kingfisher in a cracking promotion fight.
At the other end qprcammitch moves out of the bottom 3 thanks to a well timed 7 points as MaxQPR and minxymartin failed to score.
In the top tier the top 4 showed exactly why they are the frontrunners as they all scored a big 9 points. That means LurkR stays at the top a point clear of Ghost.
Down at the bottom it looked bleak for e17hoop and ranger-boy after Saturday, but with Rosco Bosco failing to score this round it means e17hoop has given himself a real shot of survival with a 9 point haul to move in from 15 points from safety to just 6. He is also off the bottom for the first time in 5 matches. singlespeed stays in the bottom 3 but only on goal difference. It could prove to be a costly round for Rosco Bosco. ranger-boy could only manage 3 points so drops to the bottom and is 10 points behind the safety mark.
surrey chad missed his entry on Saturday but returned with 9 points to ease his own relegation fears and is up 2 places to 6th.
