True. Normally a promoted side comes up and does, at best, mid-table performances; but Charlton have had some really good results against good opposition and must be surprising even their fans!
They've only won 1 of their last 4 so they are starting to slip away a bit but most had them down as heavy favourites for relegation and they don't look like they will be struggling. They will probably just be in mid table.
Let's face it the surprise package this season is QPR. To be sitting 5th after completely overhauling the squad, making a profit, selling Luke Freeman and after finishing 19th last season with only 3 wins in the whole second half of the season is remarkable!
I still think Cardiff will come good under Warnock. They aren't losing many, just drawing a lot and he knows how to make that difference. I predict they will be the team to come flying up the table as the season progresses and I'll be very surprised if they don't make the top 6.
