This week's matches resulted in 5 home wins and 5 draws. With no home defeats, there was no chance of maximum points.
Of the 5 wins, the most widely predicted was Birmingham's win over Luton. LurkR, kingfisher, CutePR, SydneyR, ashqpr and I got that one. Huddersfield's win over Barnsley was predicted by kensalr, qprallan and QPRBex. Millwall's win over Stoke was predicted by singlespeed, QPRsmith and minxymartin. Rosco Bosco got Brighton's late win over Everton. No-one predicted that Hull would beat Derby.
The draws proved to be harder with only 6 players scoring. 3 of those were for Watford v Bournemouth, predicted by kingfisher, QPRBex and myself. stoatey and ashqpr got Middlesbrough v Fulham. singlespeed got Newcastle v Wolves. No-one got the two League 1 draws.
So top score this week was 5 points by ashqpr, singlespeed and myself. kingfisher and QPRBex got 4 points for 2 correct predictions but no joker bonus.
We have a new leader. kingfisher is back on top for the first time since week 7. But it couldn't be closer with the top 3 all on 35 points. qprallan remains 2nd just 1 goal behind kingfisher on goal difference. Last week's leader stoatey drops to 3rd also on goal difference just 1 goal behind qprallan. ashqpr's 5 point haul means that he stays 4th but is now only 1 point off the lead.
We have a change at the bottom too. singlespeed's 5 points (his highest score so far this season) lift him above ranger-boy who forgot to enter. My 5 points lift me above Rosco Bosco into 14th.
