QPR Prediction Cup - League Cup 19/20 - Semi Finals: Results

It has seemed like an age since the last round but finally the last 4 players standing have faced off in the League Cup semi finals.
As a reminder e17hoop faced ashqpr and LurkR was up against minxymartin.
1 of the matches took place on Tuesday, the rest on Wednesday.
So first up was Crawley Vs Colchester in Match 4. Colchester won so only ashqpr picked up any points but he didn't get the 3-1 exact.
On to Wednesday and Match 1 was Chelsea Vs Man Utd which saw the away side win 2-1. Nobody predicted that nor Rashford as first scorer but e17hoop did get the 16-30 first goal time in the only 3 points picked up from that fixture.
Match 2 saw Liverpool facing Arsenal and with the crazy 5-5 scoreline and an own goal to open the scoring so it was pretty much impossible to get big points!
Nobody predicted a draw but ashqpr and minxymartin did at least get the very early first goal time
At this stage ashqpr was 6-3 up on e17hoop with minxymartin leading LurkR 3-0
In the last match Villa against Wolves nobody went for the Villa win. However, LurkR, ashqpr and e17hoop all got the 16-30 first goal time - only minxymartin failed to score.
That meant that ashqpr stayed 3 points clear of e17hoop and is through to the final.
LurkR at the death made it a low scoring 3-3 semi final tie against minxymartin which has to be settled by goal difference.
There were 12 bookings in the 4 games... LurkR went for 9, minxymartin just 6 and so LurkR sneaks through to face ashqpr.
LurkR is in his first final of one of the cups whereas ashqpr is showing incredible cup pedigree having won the FA Cup back in May, so is now through to consecutive cup competition finals!

So after 4 rounds only 2 players are still in with a chance of getting 10 bonus points for the QPR Prediction League:

The points all reset to zero. Round 1-4 scores and previous GD only come into play if there are any further ties.
The Final will be based on Round 5 (Quarter Finals) of the League Cup itself but the ties do not take place until the middle of December so there is quite a wait!
The winner will have a choice after the final if the 10 bonus points are applied to their Phase 2 or final Phase 3 score in the QPR Prediction League. The winner of the FA Cup Prediction Cup later in the season will have the 10 bonus points applied in Phase 3.
