QPR are giving a trial to Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman.
The centre-back, 21, is playing for Rangers’ development side in a match against Coventry at Loftus Road this afternoon.
Suliman, who is of Pakistani descent, is the first player of Asian origin to captain an England team – he has represented the country at various age levels up to Under-20. He played in every game of England’s Under-19 European Championship-winning campaign of July 2017 and scored in the final against Portugal.
Suliman has made just one senior appearance for Villa but has played first-team football during loan spells at Cheltenham, Grimsby and Dutch club FC Emmen.
He certainly would seem like one for the future but like Masterson he isn't going to be a player that could replace one of the current centre backs if they got injured.
At 21yo I would give him a 2 year contract for the Development squad and see how he progresses.

That is what I was thinking. Strangely enough, Masterson did not play alongside him and neither did any first-team squad member (though they were probably on their hols/international duty). So it would have been down to those watching, including Hall, to determine from this one game his worth. I am sure they will play him in the next planned U23s game.
