According to the Telegraph, the R’s have scouted AFC Wimbledon youngster Paul Osew on several occasions, with a view to making a move for him in the winter window.
Osew is a left back who has recently celebrated his 19th birthday and only signed professional terms in April. He was originally at Brentord where he played as a striker in their youth academy.
He has only made a few League appearances and a couple of cup appearances for Wimbledon but I could see him being signed initially for the U23 squad and then hopefully progressing into the first team.
That was my thoughts too stoatey! Nothing wrong with building for the future (as we did with Masterson) but we should also be looking very hard to find a suitable CB in the January transfer window. I doubt we will get the right player on offer for the right price, but you never know....
