QPR Prediction Cup - League Cup 2019/20 - The Final: Results

ashqpr and LurkR faced off in the League Cup final in the battle for 10 bonus points for the QPR Prediction League
As ever in the cups they made predictions on 4 matches and here is how The Final played out...
In Match 1 Everton and Leicester drew which LurkR predicted for 3 points but ashqpr got the 16-30 first goal time and that Leicester would score first for 4 points in total. Neither got Maddison as first scorer.
Match 2 was Aston Villa's mauling of the Liverpool youth team. Neither saw that coming and neither had Hourihane a first scorer but ashqpr again got the goal time calling the 0-15 bracket. That left ashqpr 4 points ahead after 2 matches.
In Match 3 between Oxford and Man City ashqpr made an error so his score prediction couldn't stand which enabled LurkR to claw 3 points back for predicting the Man City win. Neither got the goal time.
So heading into Match 4 ashqpr had a 1 point lead. Both predicted Man Utd would beat Colchester, neither got it exact and so ashqpr maintains his 1 point advantage and is the League Cup champion for 2019/20, making it back to back cup victories in the process after his FA Cup triumph earlier this year!
Commiserations to LurkR who falls 1 point short and ends up empty handed in the winner takes all cup competition.

ashqpr now has the choice of having 10 bonus points applied in the current Phase 2 or to have them applied later in Phase 3 of the QPR Prediction League. The choice is yours. If you can please 'reply' with your choice before Match 24 on Boxing Day so everybody can see your choice. If you don't reply the points will be added in Phase 3.
