Well, what a way to start the new decade. Nobody saw a 6-1 coming! Nobody. But ashqpr, LurkR, minxymartin, stoatey, onenightfever and e17hoop all did predict a QPR win
Well done to Ghost, e17hoop and stoatey for keeping the faith in Nahki Wells who of course opened the scoring so they all get 6 points
minxymartin, MaxQPR, onenightfever, CutePR, qprcammitch, QPRBex and LurkR went for Eze whilst surrey chad got Osayi-Samuel for a back up goal scorer point
ashqpr, minxymartin and singlespeed got the very early first goal time. kingfisher, e17hoop, MCM Hoop and qprallan got the bonus match 1-1 correct.
So e17hoop started 2020 in much better fashion than his 2019 form when he was relegated and hadn't scored more than 9 so far this season! In fact e17hoop hadn't hit double figures in over 2 years. He last managed it on Match 23 of 2017/18 but he bagged 12 points today to be the top scorer and move to top spot in Division 2, ahead of singlespeed on goal difference.
ashqpr scored 6 points to move up to 5th and minxymartin did 1 better with 7 points to move out of the bottom 3 for the first time since the opening fortnight of the season! CutePR drops into the bottom 3 with just 5 points from the last 5 matches. onenightfever meanwhile stays 2nd from bottom but scored for the first time in 5 games.
Up in Division 1 the top scorer was stoatey with 9 points and he is now 4th and one of 4 players at the top separated by a single point. Ghost - who was top in Phase 1 of the season - is the new leader, jumping up 2 places but with only 4 matches left in this phase the battle for the big bonuses for the start of Phase 3 is going to go to the wire!
Remember the FA Cup knockout competition is open for entries ahead of the 3rd Round on Sunday - 10 bonus points are on offer!
