On paper it was a surprise win for QPR over Leeds but QPRsmith, kingfisher, minxymartin, e17hoop, surrey chad, CutePR, ranger-boy and MaxQPR all predicted the R's victory. Nobody went for 1-0 though.
The trio of e17hoop, ashqpr and onenightfever got Wells as first scorer in a great call!
The 16-30 first goal time was predicted by kingfisher, stoatey, LurkR, e17hoop, Ghost, myself, surrey chad, MCM Hoop, ranger-boy, SydneyR, MaxQPR and Rosco Bosco
QPRsmith, e17hoop, Ghost, onenightfever, QPRBex, CutePR, MCM Hoop, ranger-boy, MaxQPR and qprallan all got the 1-1 between Birmingham and Cardiff in the bonus match
e17hoop's name popped up every time there and he scored a whopping 15 points which puts him up to top spot in Division 2 and 15 points clear of 4th place in the promotion race, so with only 2 games left it will take a strange combination of scores to deny him promotion now. I mentioned a fortnight ago when e17hoop scored 12 that he hadn't hit double figures for 2 years and now he's done it twice in 2 weeks!
The promotion race took a big twist behind e17hoop as singlespeed, who was top, failed to score so from being 13 points clear of 4th that has been cut to just 4 points. That is because MaxQPR and ranger-boy also equalled their best scores of the season with 9 points too. MaxQPR has still not hit double figures since entering the game at the start of last season but he has kept the pressure up. It looks a straight battle between those 4 for promotion as there is a big gap back to ashqpr in 5th.
Speaking of highest scorers onenightfever got 9 points which is his best score of the season (previously 7). That moves him out of the bottom 3 with CutePR slipping back in to the 'negative point' zone despite scoring a decent 6. There are just 5 points between 4 players in that battle! qprcammitch is well adrift at the bottom in his debut season and probably can't wait for Phase 3 to start so he can have another stab at promotion ahead of next season.
In Division 1 everybody scored 3 or 6 but it still means the top spot swaps back to Ghost. Ghost and Rosco Bosco have now traded the lead for each of the last 4 updates. MCM Hoop is up to 3rd and there are just 2 points between the top 3 in the battle to get the big bonus points ahead of Phase 3.
At the bottom kingfisher scored 6 to cut the deficit to safety by 3 to 11 points but he needs a big, big score over the next 2 games to avoid the drop. Myself and QPRBex could only equal the scores of those above so made no headway.
It is the FA Cup knockout 2nd round next on FRIDAY so don't forget to enter if you made it through then we play Blackburn on Tuesday 28th
