The 2-1 defeat at Blackburn was the penultimate match of Phase 2 so Saturday's clash with Bristol City will determine who goes up and down ahead of the final phase of the season.
A plethora of players got the 2-1 score correct... stoatey, qprallan, SydneyR, MCM Hoop, CutePR, surrey chad and Ghost
It was a bigger list than usual who got the first scorer correct too; stoatey, ranger-boy, Ghost and MCM Hoop all picked Armstrong. 4 players went for Dack despite him being injured for the season at Christmas. kingfisher did get Hugill for a back up point.
minxymartin, surrey chad and singlespeed got the very early first goal time whilst CutePR was the only player to get Wigan's 2-1 win correct in the bonus match.
We had 4 players forget to enter - e17hoop, MaxQPR, Rosco Bosco and QPRsmith. e17hoop forgot to enter for the first time ever since he started playing 5 years ago. Rosco Bosco failed to enter for the first time since 2015/16 and for MaxQPR it was for the first time this season.
It has effectively cost MaxQPR an outside chance at promotion and all but sealed places in the top flight for singlespeed, ranger-boy and e17hoop with MaxQPR now 10 points from the top 3. e17hoop get's away with not entering as he is still top on goal difference and 15 points clear of MaxQPR in 4th.
CutePR was in the bottom 3 last week but is now up to 5th after a critical 9 points. QPRsmith has gone from promotion contender to being at risk of getting negative points after missing a 7th match in this phase. minxymartin and onenightfever could both avoid negative points with a big score in the last match.
In Division 1 it couldn't have been a worse match for Rosco Bosco to miss and he drops from 2nd to 6th and could now miss out on the bigger bonus points for Phase 3. Ghost, MCM Hoop and stoatey all top scored this round with 12 points. That puts Ghost back on top and moves MCM Hoop up to 2nd. stoatey is 5th but only 1 point off qprallan in 3rd. surrey chad was in the bottom 3 over Christmas but is now up to 4th after scoring 36 points in 6 matches.
At the bottom SydneyR was the man being chased by the bottom 3 but he scored 9 to move 8 clear. LurkR is instead the player closest to relegation 5 clear of myself. kingfisher and QPRBex are 13 and 10 points afrift respectively so need a big turnaround to escape the drop.
