If we end up in league one do we sack or stick with warburton id personally would prefer him gone, its pretty footie to watch but its not going to win us many more games league one is more direct and in fact teams like wycombe and rotherham play some quite nice football some of you say we have no chance of going down,we lose to swansea and stoke we will silp even futher down its daunting prospect and we had a chance in january to strengthen weak areas but we didnt and were never going to we have no goalscorer and we have a non physical unbalanced team at the moment its a poor poor league and anyone could slip down into that 3rd bottom spot,i think bottom 2 is about done its too late to sack warburton now even if we continue to lose,it was a season full of so much promise at one point and fizzled out as usual mid season

We are not going down.
If we did hypothetically I'd still stick with Warburton. It is 10 years now since we saw a positive impact from changing manager, why start that annual cycle yet again?
Warburton is not to blame for not having a clinical goalscorer and not to blame for the club deciding to cut their losses for this season. He'd no doubt love to spend £15 million and make us challenge for the title.
He made a profit in the transfer market, we spent next to nothing and we have ended up exactly where we were before. I don't see why Waburton is being questioned so much (not just here but by the fanbase in general). We got off to a pretty fantastic start this season and expectations must have changed. Before the season the vast majority of us predicted a bottom half finish.
That is where we are. That is where we will finish. Warburton deserves another transfer window and another season at least.
I totally respect your comments mate And agree maybe keeping warburton might be beneficial in the end But we’re gonna sail dangerously close this season

I do agree we are probably going to drift to a dangerous position this season but can't see how we won't pick up another 2 wins or even a win and 3/4 draws.
Plus other teams are out there struggling as much as us. I expect Huddersfield and Stoke will finish above us, so we will probably end up 19th or 20th unless we really find a good bit of form.
It is hard to criticise Warburton too much though because I'm not sure what any manager could do losing their best striker and with such limited resources overall.
i saw a stat this week that said that the only role on average shorter than a football manager is that of a government minister! Given that we all criticise when a new minister is asked to take on the management of a working ministry (and that is with a permanent set of senior managers supporting him/her) - why on earth would we expect a new football manager to come into a club and quickly get things turned around? Warburton needs a couple of seasons to prove/disprove the merits of his style of play and management skills.
I’ll happily eat my words The 0-0 at Swansea and the comeback from 2-0 down with stoke was a end of season changer in my opinion We Could of really got dragged in to a relegation battle if we wasn’t careful and were still not safe yet you know 😆

Did your Mum not tell you to talk with your mouth full @singlespeed!
Crazy thing is win next 2 winnable games and we could actually dream of sneaking into the play offs Warburton did it with Brentford Very unlikely but I’d happily eat my words again
