This week saw 4 wins, 5 losses and only 1 draw for our 10 home teams.
The most productive prediction was Arsenal's win over Newcastle. 8 players got that one and a healthy boost to their goal difference: kensalr, northwesthoop, LurkR, singlespeed, CutePR, SydneyR, QPRBex and ashqpr. kingfisher got Accringtion's win over Lincoln. The rest of us went for the other banker of Preston to beat Millwall but that didn't happen.
5 players got Villa's defeat by Spurs: northwesthoop, LurkR, QPRBex, ashqpr and me. kensalr got Charlton's loss to Blackburn. singlespeed got Oxford's loss to Sunderland. The other popular predictions that didn't come true were Birmingham losing to Brentford and Fleetwood losing to Peterborough.
I was the only one to get the draw between Birmingham and Brentford.
Joint top scorers this week with 5 points were ashqpr, kensalr, LurkR, northwesthoop and singlespeed. Well done all.
All this means that ashqpr is back on top on goal difference from kingfisher, who drops to 2nd after a 2 week stint as leader.
CutePR and kensalr remain in 3rd & 4th just 3 points behind.
Last year's champion, LurkR, is now up to 5th after rising 5 places in 2 weeks.
At the bottom, singlespeed's 5 points bring him to within a point of ranger-boy in 16th.
minxymartin remains 15th.
I remain 14th but have opened up a 5 point gap over minxymartin.
