After a low scoring round at the weekend the 2-1 win over Derby saw players faring a lot better
That was mainly because we had a big group of players all predicting the 2-1 QPR win exact. qprallan, surrey chad, MaxQPR, onenightfever, SydneyR, LurkR, QPRBex, CutePR, stoatey, Ghost and e17hoop all got the full 6 points. ashqpr and minxymartin also predicted a QPR win but the wrong score for 3 points
The only person to get anything from the goal scorer category was ranger-boy who picked Waghorn who scored at any time for the back up point
kingfisher, ashqpr, Rosco Bosco, QPRBex, MaxQPR, LurkR, CutePR and stoatey all got the 31-45 first goal time
minxymartin got the Huddersfield 2-1 win exact in the bonus match for the full 3 bonus points and CutePR got the correct result for 1 point. They were the only 2 players to score in the bonus match
The top scorer was CutePR who bagged 10 points for the second time in 3 matches and that puts her top of Division 1, knocking ashqpr off the summit for the first time in the final phase. CutePR is top for the first time this season.
QPRBex and MaxQPR both scored 9 to move into the play off places in the second tier, replacing myself and kingfisher. QPRBex was on a miserable run of not scoring more than 4 points for 14 matches which had seen him drop down to Division 2 so it was an important 9 points. For MaxQPR 9 points continues a rather remarkable run of having never reached double figures since he joined the game at the start of last season. He is also the only player yet to pick a first scorer this season.
In Division 1 it was a costly round for MCM Hoop in the title race as he was 2nd but failed to score for the first time in 12 matches whilst all those around him scored 6 or 9. That drops him out of the medal places and extends Ghost's lead at the top to 5 points with qprallan now 2nd and LurkR jumping from 6th to 3rd as he was the 9 point scorer in that group.
ranger-boy was another to suffer from a bad round, dropping 4 places to 8th and after a strong start following promotion he has now only picked up 4 points in the last 4 matches
stoatey is off the bottom thanks to his 9 points, knocking Rosco Bosco down in to the bottom 2 automatic relegation places and leaving singlespeed - who is living up to his name by scoring a single point in each of the last 4 matches - at the bottom and already 8 points from safety.
