I also hate sitting As the stoke game proved it was cramped and the guy in front of me just deliberately kept leaning back on my legs He was very near to a violent reaction from me as it ruined my day to be honest and I don’t expect to pay 40 quid for a stranger to as good sit on my lap I was always taught to show people respect and consider simple things like not standing in front of people and leaning back etc When they are in cramped seating Personally as much as the result was great I would think twice about going due to the crap seating

I know what you mean about the cramped seating meaning tall or large people encroach on your seat from all sides! I only hope that if we move to another stadium before I die that the seating has a bit more space for each person!! Regarding the rail seating, I did submit my views and opted for the Lower Loft, but the corner areas would work just as well.

This is a key thing that Lee Hoos is always saying is the main reason to move stadium. We struggle to attract people back, the casual fans think twice before attending because of the facilities.
For the amount we charge everything from the seating to the toilets etc are below par and it puts people off and that harms the club.
Get rail seating installed in the lower Loft, and get the family stand to the paddocks or something. It drives me mad seeing our home end half empty every week because the kids can’t be bothered going
It appears that in the next phase of this that they intend to do this in the right hand side of the lower loft and some of 'R Block'.
Lee Hoos has also confirmed at a meeting that season ticket prices will be going up. Whilst not a shock, as their overheads will be increasing, they need to be careful. A lot of fans were already very frustrated and turned off because there were only 9 3pm Saturday kick offs this season. That initial rush to get to games after Covid has also gone and there isn't the same positive vibe around the club that we had last summer when there were record sales. Add that to spiralling prices elsewhere and I can see a lot, lot less fans renewing or getting a season ticket for this coming season.

This is perhaps a discussion to be had on a future podcast!
