Apparently some are thinking beyond the pandemic already, as there is reported discussion underway about creating a second tier Premiership. Any thoughts on the idea and also how QPR could fit in? My guess is that they would lower the number of clubs in the current Premiership by 3-4 and then invite the top 12-17 from the Championship (or perhaps even include Scotland's SPL)....

EFL clubs are fearing that there will be a Championship breakaway if the season is ended early in next week's vote.

I never understand this idea of there being a Premier League 2. If you are in the division below the top tier, aren't you still in The Championship? Or Division 2? Or Premier League 2? Whatever you call it you are still in the same position.

I would however like Celtic and Rangers to join the English league, I've always thought that would benefit those teams and also be good for the game in this country. They would be incredibly popular away games.

I get the Celtic and rangers concept
It’s silly having 2 teams dominate a league,season after season
Some of the other teams and grounds look non league on the telly
It would be like having man united and arsenal in the championship with their budget every season

Purely down to money and tv coverage from sky and bt
The premier league has lost its edge,most games are boring and I mean boring,Everton v Crystal Palace isn’t very exciting to watch for example
Most teams that come up struggle and if the top 6 were in a Euro league the premier league would open up chances of smaller teams
But would it be as exciting coming up knowing you aren’t going to play Man U and Liverpool and other big teams
Just ordinary teams like Leicester and wolves
