I honestly don't think we will go down.
I agree we have been a bit of shambles and disinterested in the first 2 games back but the odds of us losing 9 straight games must be minimal. It is the QPR thing to do to suddenly get a result when we then don't expect it.
Plus I think the two performances can be explained by the players thinking the season is over or thinking their futures lie elsewhere. If we suddenly did get pulled down towards the bottom 3 I think the players would snap into action. Especially the ones who will still be here next season.
That said, we rarely do well against Fulham (who will be smarting from being turned over by Leeds) and then we face Middlesbrough with Warnock pulling the string which is a lot, lot tougher match than it may have been a week ago.
If we are sat here in a weeks time with no points added then it may start to look a bit grim, but as I said the odds of us then going on to lose the following 5 games after that seems very unlikely.
Just watched the Warburton interview and I get the impression that he is probably a better trader than football manager.
I find him so uninspiring and if that's how he appears to the players it's no wonder we lose more than we win.
He frightens me when he says they practice set piece defending every day. If that is the case then we should all be very frightened because whatever him and his defensive coaches practice with the team it doesn't work. I would concede that it probably doesn't work because the defenders aren't good enough. Although, I suspect Warburton wouldn't admit to that because he signed most of them. Players like Kane and Wallace are very poor, Masterson is still learning, Manning is not a defender, Rangel is on the downhill side of his career and Barbet is an average defender who lacks pace and is poor in the air.
Somebody should tell Warburton that we all want a team that plays like Man City or Barcelona but unless you have quality players that ain't gonna happen. Just because a player is confident playing the ball out with his feet doesn't make him a good keeper and Kelly is not a good goalkeeper(IMO).
I do have some sympathy with Warburton though because like all of our recent managers he is trying to achieve success with League 2 quality players on non league wages. The positive is that when his attacking style works it's great to watch. The issue is that it fails more often than it succeeds.
The players just need to learn although they are playing games in empty stadiums and no atmosphere, these games still have 3 points at stake and much more for some teams it should be easier to win games as there is no home advantage or crowd to pressure them but we are not turning up and simply going through the motions and playing like we are in training mode simply can’t wait for season to end and let’s be honest trying to watch footie on telly with fake fans crowd noise and cardboard cut outs is really scraping the barrel
im starting to think has the QPR team been 11 cardboard cut outs last two games

Hmmm...the atmosphere (or lack of it) certainly did not impact Barnsley or Charlton!
