It is almost 4 months since the results of the Quarter Finals but here we are finally with the results of the Semi Finals!
It became a 3 player showdown as minxymartin forgot to enter. So rather than 2 head to head ties it became all 3 players against each other with the top 2 scorers making it through to the final in the race for 10 bonus points for the Prediction League!
LurkR Vs QPRBex Vs qprcammitch.... who would be the player to exit?
Match 1 saw Chelsea defeat Leicester 1-0. Only LurkR failed to predict the Chelsea win, the other 2 players both got 4 points
Arsenal beat Sheffield united 2-1 in Match 2 which was predicted on the money by QPRBex! LurkR also went for an Arsenal win with qprcammitch missing out as he went for Sheffield United.
LurkR got the 16-30 first goal time but in both of the opening 2 matches nobody got either of the first scorers
Matches 3 and 4 were all even, with all players predicting the 2 Manchester clubs would win, but nobody getting an exact score or goal time from Match 3.
So that all meant QPRBex was out in front with 16 points then LurkR pips qprcammitch by 2 points 12 to 10.
So it is qprcammitch who exits the competition.
QPRBex and LurkR will fight it out for the 10 bonus points, which could prove critical in the title fight or fight for promotion.
The points all reset to zero. Round 1-4 scores and previous GD only come into play if there are any further ties.
The final will be based on 4 Premier League matches on the weekend of 11/12 July so we can know the outcome a bit earlier for the main prediction league.
