We are into the final third of the final third of the season!
Finally a win for QPR but a win that was only predicted a few players. e17hoop, CutePR and LurkR went for the QPR win but minxymartin and ashqpr went one better both predicting the 1-0 scoreline.
ashqpr also got the first goal time of 31-45, as did myself, CutePR, MCM Hoop and Rosco Bosco
Well done to kingfisher and e17hoop for getting Jordan Hugill as first scorer!
ranger-boy got Swansea's 2-1 win in the bonus match exact - the only player to do so although a host of players got 1 bonus point.
The top scorers this round were e17hoop and ashqpr who both scored 9. For e17hoop that moves him up a huge 4 places to 2nd in Division 1! It knocks Ghost out of the top 3 for the first time since Christmas; he is down to 4th albeit only 1 point behind e17hoop and MCM Hoop.
e17hoop is in the medal places for the first time all season and for the first time since 2017/18, having been relegated in Phase 1 this season and only promoted back at the start of this final phase.
Above that group LurkR has stretched his lead out to 10 points in his bid to win back to back titles, and that lead could be 20 this time next week if he wins the FA Cup. Ominous.
At the bottom surrey chad returned but failed to score and is now 13 points from safety with 5 to play. ranger-boy still occupies the other automatic relegation place.
As mentioned ashqpr was the other top scorer and his 9 points put him 8 points clear in the automatic promotion places in Division 2. kingfisher did well scoring 7 but still loses ground.
CutePR is top by some distance - she has scored 7 for 3 games in a row and is 20 points clear of 3rd place. Promoted.
minxymartin, who has picked up a wooden spoon in each of the last 4 seasons in which he has taken part, is now 9 points clear of MaxQPR who occupies the final wooden spoon place.
