QPR Prediction Cup - FA Cup 2019/20 - The Final: Results

QPRBex and LurkR were fighting it out in this FA Cup final that was guaranteed to have a huge impact in the QPR Prediction League title race if LurkR picked up the 10 bonus points or the Division 2 promotion race if QPRBex was to win.
Match 1 saw Norwich humbled and relegated with defeat against West Ham
Both players went for West Ham to win, neither got 4-0. However LurkR started the final with a bang by getting Antonio as first scorer! QPRBex got a point back by going for West Ham to score first.
Match 3 was the next to take place on Saturday with Watford beating Newcastle 2-1 which QPRBex nailed for a big 6 points as LurkR went for a draw.
LurkR did get the 16-30 first goal time and that was enough to stay 2 points ahead at the end of Day 1; 12 points to 10
That left us with the remaining 2 matches on Sunday.....
Match 2 took place first with Villa Vs Palace
Both players got the first goal time of 31-45 but the deciding factor was LurkR went for the Villa win to gain another 3 points.
That left LurkR 5 points clear and with both players predicting a draw in Match 4 when Spurs beat Arsenal that means LurkR is our FA Cup winner for 2019/20 winning 18 points to 13. LurkR wins one of our cups for the first time!
18 points is the highest score we had at any stage of this FA Cup competition and LurkR is seemingly an unstoppable force this season. He was already runner up in the League Cup earlier this season and now with 10 bonus points finally in the bag LurkR moves 14 points clear at the top of the Prediction League and with just 3 games left is odds on to become back to back champion!
Commiserations to QPRBex who falls just short and will now be hoping to make a late surge for automatic promotion or to go up in the play offs.
