I read the club's website interview with him and that really helped to get an understanding of him. Sounds like a really nice bloke who has ended up doing a job he loved - rare in these times. His contribution to the club will probably never be fully appreciated but I am sure it is considerable. RIP.
RIP Gordon. Another revered stalwart of the club gone, very sad.
I remember when Daphne Biggs passed away and how I felt I had lost part of my childhood love of QPR. Despite our day-to-day focus on the players, it's people like Gordon and Daphne that make the club what it is.
RIP Gordon Macey, the work that you and your daughter put into compiling "The Official History of Queens Park Rangers" was amazing. I believe a lot of the groundwork was done scouring old records and newspapers in the pre Internet days.

RIP, Gordon. Your book has given us all countless memories of joy. For me it is an important link to a club that is so far away from my home. Thankyou for your wonderful, humble service.
