Based on his performance against Rotherham he would benifit from a loan move. He did well for 45 minutes but then faded from the game before being subbed.
I'm not sure he would ever be a regular starter but fringe players need to be lasting longer than half the game if they are to cover for injuries and suspensions.
With Chair and Willock playing in his position he won't get many first team games unless they are missing, injured or suspended. The trouble then is that he may be fit but he's not match fit. I'd hoped that the creation of a B team would help in this regard because it would mean that squad members who don't get on for the first team would get regular match time playing B team matches. The trouble is that any B team games we have played have been few and far between plus they have been against some poor teams. You would think that in London alone we could get weekly B team games against not only the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Palace, West Ham and Brentford but also teams like Fulham and Millwall. I don't understand why we have a so called B team but no regular games for them to compete in.
