QPR Prediction League 2019/20 - Play Off Semi Final Results

It is the second year of our play offs with the final place in Division 1 left up for grabs.
We had SydneyR Vs minxymartin and ashqpr Vs kingfisher in the Play Off Semi Finals...
3 of the 4 matches used took place on Sunday with the final match on Monday.
Matches 3 and 4 from the Premier League took place first.
In Match 3 only SydneyR failed to predict a Man Utd win. Nobody got the later first goal time, so it was 3 points to all but SydneyR
Match 4 was a draw between West Ham and Villa which minxymartin predicted for 3 points. Nobody else got anything.
Match 1 was up next as Swansea sneaked past Brentford 1-0.
SydneyR got a single point whilst ashqpr and kingfisher failed to score... but minxymartin not only predicted Swansea would win but had Ayew as first scorer for a huge 10 points!
That meant that overnight SydneyR was 15 points behind minxymartin and needed a miracle full score in the final match! ashqpr and kingfisher were tied on 3 all.
That just left us with Match 2 on Monday between Cardiff and Fulham
The only player to score anything was SydneyR with 3 points for predicting Fulham would win. That wasn't enough to bring him back into contention and so minxymartin is through to the final and SydneyR has his relegation back down to Division 2 confirmed.
As for the other tie between ashqpr and kingfisher it was one of the lowest scoring cup ties we've ever had. From 46 points available it ended 3-3! So it went down to goal difference.
There were a whopping 20 bookings (red cards counted double). ashqpr went for 14, kingfisher 12 and so ashqpr was closest and is through to face minxymartin. kingfisher will stay in Division 2.
Amazingly ashqpr and minxymartin have both always been in Division 2 since we started with different leagues at the start of the last season, so one of them will be playing in the top tier for the first time ever at the start of next season! What a big Play Off Final it will be!
The Play Off Final will be based on the Championship Play Off Final itself along with 3 other matches I can find so will be ready to enter once we know who has made it through in real life!
Commiserations to SydneyR and kingfisher but thank you once again for taking part this season and best of luck for next season!
