New Charlton owner, Thomas Sandgaard reckons he looked and contacted several clubs before investing in The Addicks.
Sandgaard, who owns medical company Zynex Inc, said he considered a number of different clubs - including Swansea, Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic - to invest in before deciding to begin the process of taking charge at The Valley. Obviously I looked at Sunderland with an incredible history, you call a club like Queens Park Rangers and you hear that they don't really need money. People were very confused down at Swansea.
I wonder who he spoke to at QPR?
