I wonder if the government has the capability to recognise that socially-distanced attendance at outdoor sporting events can be made to work. The chances of getting the virus (or any virus for that matter) from 3 seats away whilst all are wearing a mask in the open air are minimal. Trouble is the capacity at our stadium would be only 2,000 - 2,500 I reckon, but you would still need most of the stewards. I would not include away fans as that reduces the number of your fans that you can allow and encourages travel in cars/trains/buses. All for it, even though I know (as a non-season ticket holder) I will never get to see a game....
