To repeat, Argyle played well. They adopted a high press, pushing their back line much further up than normal. That meant the midfield became congested and Warburton's plan to dominate it meant little. On the occasions when we broke along the wings Chair/Amos/Oteh/BOS had further to sprint to be in place for any cross. Good tactics that worked. Should Warburton have changed his tactics accordingly and ignored their pre-match planning - perhaps...

I agree with comments in regard to Dickie looking nervous and making mistakes, and being nervous would explain Carroll's odd misplaced ball too (not sure about Amos as I thought he was doing a lot that was right). Onto Oteh. We have been saying for ages this must surely be his last chance, but yesterday would have been. Apart from one expert trap of a flying ball he did not contribute enough. Why was he selected instead of Ramkilde? Finally, do not forget that Masterson was playing instead of an injured Barbet on the left. He was not solid and playing there probably had a lot to do with his nerves too!
