Win, Lose & Draw - Week 1 - RESULTS

Welcome to the new season of Win, Lose & Draw - both the regulars and the new players.
Week 1 saw some good scores with the help of some popular predictions coming off. 9 got Huddersfield's loss to Norwich and 8 got Bournemouth's win over Blackburn. On the other hand 7 players were let down by Brentford's loss at Birmingham and 6 by West Brom failing to hold Leicester to a draw.
Overall there were 3 home wins and 6 home teams losing. That leaves only one draw between Millwall and Stoke - so well done to the 4 of you that picked that one: LurkR, MCM Hoop, jalfrezi and jimjams.
We started the season with one maximum score of 8 and it was LurkR who started the season in the same form that he has shown in all the prediction games on this site for the last couple of years. We played.
No fewer than 7 players got 5 points: jortja, ashqpr, northwesthoop, qprallan, ranger-boy, jalfrezi and myself. Remember, to win this game in the last 2 years you need to average a bit over 3.5 points each round so 5 is a good start.
