It's shocking all over the world. NBA stars - baseball players and NFL - they live in a different universe!

It may be controversial (it's not controversial at all but it is 2017 after all) but I understand why sportswomen receive less money in general.

The product is inferior. It is less watchable. The only sports on a par are probably tennis and athletics and even then less will watch a womens match than a mens match in tennis especially.

You don't get people saying all bands should get paid the same no matter how many albums they sell or tickets they sell. It is about what is on offer.

Women don't get paid less in sport because they are women, they get paid less because the product is viewed less, sells less, is less endorsed, makes less from sponsors etc.
