Another 0-0 meant we had a third low scoring round in a row with no first scorer or first goal time again. Plus the bonus match was 4-0 to Blackburn so only single points were picked up in that match!
So the points went to those who went for a draw; myself, MCM Hoop, jalfrezi and Rosco Bosco get 3 points in this category
stoatey, kingfisher, jalfrezi, woodork, QPRBex, CutePR, MCM Hoop, MaxQPR, SydneyR and qprallan all picked up the single point for predicting Blackburn's win
The top scorers were MCM Hoop and jalfrezi who both scored 4. That means MCM Hoop has opened up a nice 6 point lead at the top of Division 1. Remember at the end of Phase 1 players who remain in the top tier get bonus points from 10 to 1 for the start of Phase 2
The 4 points for jalfrezi aren't quite enough to move him into the top 3 of Division 2, he moves up a place to 4th but is below onenightfever on goal difference. There are only 3 points covering the top 5 and 3 points covering the bottom 5 in a very low scoring, tight opening to the season in Division 2! minxymartin has now gone 4 games without a point and is still 2nd!
There was no other movement in either division but we play again on Tuesday. Nobody has scored more than 6 points in any of the last 4 games so once the big points are picked up again it is really going to shake things up!
