Well done to minxymartin, MaxQPR and qprallan who both predicted exactly the 1-0 win to the R's! onenightfever and LurkR also predicted a QPR win
Nobody had Bonne as first scorer or the late first goal time, whilst only Ghost and e17hoop picked up a single point in the bonus match
Surprisingly kingfisher forgot to enter for the first time ever - in over 6 years! ranger-boy and surreychad also forgot to enter; ranger-boy for only the 2nd time in 5 seasons. I think we may have lost qprcammitch from the game. Remember matches are usually up at least a week in advance, so enter early if you won't get back online.
Anyway, nobody got more than 6 points but with so many low scores they had quite an impact. The 6 points for minxymartin and MaxQPR put them back into 1st and 2nd in Division 2. ranger-boy drops from top to 4th, with onenightfever's 3 points enough to move him up into 3rd. Nobody else in Division 2 scored!
In the top tier leader MCM Hoop failed to score for the first time this season, which means after just 10 games everybody has scored at least 1 zero. LurkR scored 3 to cut the lead from 14 points to 5 points within 2 games this week! qprallan takes over in 3rd with his 6 points.
At the bottom it's quite incredible that despite only having 17 and 18 points respectively e17hoop and stoatey are both still in touch with the rest. ashqpr has scored 1 point in 6 matches but is still up in 7th, 4 points clear of the drop zone!
Last season in phase 1 52 points were needed to survive and it doesn't look like it will be anything like that this season, with it proving one of the hardest openings of the season to get right that we've ever had.
Just 5 matches to go now in Phase 1 for players to save themselves, seize promotion or bag the bigger bonus points for Phase 2!
There is an international break after Saturday!
