The U23's continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 3 -0 win over Brentford's B team. It's great to see the youngsters doing well because in the current climate these guys are going to be the future of our club. Let's hope that we have got them on long term contracts so that we see the benefit of their talent in our first team.
Holloway did an interview this week where he made it clear the club is being transformed from top to bottom, there is no detail being overlooked now to make the club sustainable and having a strong scouting system and youth system is part of that.
Long may it continue and hopefully we see a lot more of our own players coming through rather than us having to keep signing players.

Grant Hall played 45 minutes today for the U23's. Great news.
They won 1-0 and top the league. Shodipo scored on his own return from injury.
Game time also for Caulker, Goss and Borysiuk.
No Cousins though, imagine he would have played a part if fit?
Really good news that Hall is on the way back. Another few games for the U23's and he should be ready for the first team. Important not to rush him back.
