QPR Prediction League 2020/21 - Match 21 - Results

Here are the results following the Boxing Day defeat at Swansea, which was to be by far the highest scoring round of the season and a history making round for a plethora of players in the process!!
stoatey, myself, CutePR, MCM Hoop, onenightfever, jalfrezi, MaxQPR, SydneyR and surrey chad all expertly predicted 2-0 exact. woodork, LurkR, e17hoop, ashqpr and minxymartin failed to predict a Swansea win.
surrey chad, myself, stoatey, ranger-boy, onenightfever, e17hoop, jalfrezi, SydneyR and CutePR all got Ayew as first scorer for 6 points. MaxQPR, qprallan, Rosco Bosco, MCM Hoop, QPRBex and LurkR also got Lowe for a back up point
stoatey, MCM Hoop, onenightfever, MaxQPR, jalfrezi, minxymartin, Rosco Bosco and ashqpr got the 31-45 first goal time
ashqpr and MaxQPR were the only players who got Watford's 1-0 win in the bonus match
So here we go...
stoatey hadn't scored more than 7 so far this season but more than doubled that with 15 points; his best score since a 15 just over 3 years ago.
onenightfever also scored 15 - his highest ever score since joining the game in 2017! onenightfever hadn't even hit double figures in the last 2 seasons 1/2 seasons!
Jalfrezi was another player with 15 - his best score since joining the game at the start of this season whilst bagging his first correct first goal scorer prediction. Well done to all 3 players who were only 3 away from a rare maximum.
MaxQPR got 13 for his best ever score. He has never even hit double figures until 5 matches ago; now he's had another 10 and a 13 since. Quite incredible. MaxQPR is in fine form, now topping Division 2 and since the last match MaxQPR also won the cup and has chosen to have his 10 Bonus Points applied in the final phase.
It was also seasons best totals for surrey chad, CutePR, SydneyR and myself (all 12)
Despite topping the table in Phase 1 and overtaking Ghost at the top of Division 1 with this result, MCM Hoop has only just hit double figures with 10 for the first time this season too. There are only 2 points now covering the top 4 though. CutePR moves into the top 3 with her 12 points. Somehow ranger-boy scored 10 but drops a place to 4th!
At the bottom surrey chad moves to within 6 points of safety after his big score. QPRBex drops to 10th whilst minxymartin is now 15 points from safety and is struggling to adjust to life in the big league.
As I mentioned MaxQPR has moved to the top of Division 2, but only ahead of onenightfever on goal difference. e17hoop, who was top last time out, drops to 3rd.
stoatey moves out of the bottom 3 at the expense of kingfisher, who not only drops into the bottom 3, but after such a poor round whilst those around scored big, is now 9 points from safety. woodork is bottom and 23 points away from avoiding negative points ahead of Phase 3. woodork is now the only player this season who hasn't predicted a first scorer.
Wow, what a round, and we play again tomorrow!
