we very briefly flirted because of one bad month (december) but in my eyes i dont think we were ever to go down and this run YES very impressive but we were always going to have too much to go down this season
I think if we can make it 6 wins in a row - with 2 wins this coming week against Preston and Birmingham (which is very possible on paper) - then it becomes a very real possibility. We'd certainly need to look at the maths on it!
But winning 6 in a row is a big ask, that probably only happens to QPR once a decade. Or Two.
All 3 matches from this week are off due to covid.
They are only 3 point from safety with 3 games in hand BUT
They still have 4 fixtures to pencil in
They already have a match every midweek until the end of the season apart from before the final match. Assuming a match is played in that week that still leaves them with 3 matches to squeeze in somewhere.
Other teams won't agree to playing on a Thursday before a Saturday etc and that will be Rotherham's only option, so I don't see how they can fit those 3 matches in! They could well be playing after the final day, but surely that isn't allowed because everybody has to play the final match at the same time.

These are extraordinary times and you would have hoped the EFL would be considering an extraordinary solution - but I doubt it. A club that is in line for automatic promotion or the Play-offs or relegation will surely refuse to play an extra game in one of their weeks? What about utilising the international break if both teams involved agree?
