2 ex Rangers being targeted

Whilst it adds up that Freeman is not getting games and he loved his time at QPR, I just don't see how a move for him works out. He cost Sheff Utd £5 million. I remember reading that Forest paid a pretty sizeable fee to take him on loan for the season. Are Forest going to write that off and are Sheff Utd going to let us have him on loan on the cheap? I just sadly don't see this. Also he doesn't particular fit the current formation we are going to play (if we stick with wing backs)

I'd like Freeman back in general, he is a very good player, but I just don't think financially it will happen.


I never really took to Scowen and we already have Dom Ball doing the 'running around like a headless chicken' job

Yes I nearly put that about Scowen, he was not happy when he left last season. He had a real chip on his shoulder; he scored a worldie in the FA Cup and didn't even celebrate.

I don't suspect he and Warburton saw eye to eye and I just fail to see how we'd be looking to bring him back. I'm probably wrong but the Scowen one just doesn't compute for me.

So the suggestion is that Scowen who couldn't get a regular place in Warburton's team 12 months ago and as a result left, is now a top Warburton target who we will pay £100k for?

Those who say Warburton is a poor manager and the board have mismanaged us from day one would have a field day.

Wouldnt this be great if it actually happened.

turned out it all fell on us loaning Joe Lumley to Forest for a sweetner as it would have cost Forest a tiny bit of wedge them canceling the loan deal so he could join us LUMLEY that not happening means he didnt join us this season


were going back to Sheff Utd at end of this season to try and loan him in next or if MW is still in charge of us we may even get him in on the cheap by cheap i mean he will cost in region of 2.75 million- 4 million

Scowen Plan C had we missed out on Field

by all accounts Field can also operate as left back if needed (not ideal there but an option for when Wallace gets crocked again or haamelaainen loses his confidence)

according to a west brom fan at my workplace Field cant opperate at left back whatsoever


so i take that comment back
