Yes that forced change seems to have impacted the side badly. I was wondering if Kane and Kakay are on speaking terms...... Certainly having Kakay as a CB is tough for him.

I suppose the big credit must go to the Rotherham manager who made 3 quick changes when they went 1 goal down and those 3 players have caused us loads of problems.
I think we can say that Kakay does not have it in him to sprint. Their player left him standing, and even Barbet's longer (and more successful) sprint back was not enough. Good breakaway goal you have to worry about when you have stripped the midfield for attackers.
This is yet another example of how QPR's possession-based play can be disrupted by a side prepared to break up play and use long balls to good effect. It is also true that tonight some players looked off the boil (Johansen and Kakay), and others were found wanting when it can to their end product or their involvement (Kelman and Hamalainen). Sorry for Dykes as his fine goal (assisted by Kakay) was 'cheapened' by the result.
