Interesting point about Dickie's failings. He looks very self-assured when he makes surging runs with the ball, and his placement for corners and clearances is good; but he does struggle against players on the move (in all fairness so does Cameron and Barbet). I now think he is either not ready or unsuitable as first choice for the central position of the 3 CBs. That makes the fitness of Cameron & De Wijs an even greater need....

It's a strange thing about Cameron because he has surprised me with how well he fitted into the 3 man central defender role.

I don't know if you can remember but when we played 4 at the back he occasionally slotted into the centre half position due to injury or suspension. In those games he seemed out of his depth and I saw him as a complete liability and a real weak link. Whilst I don't see him as commanding as de Wijs he is a decent replacement.
