Well who saw that coming?? Actually 3 players did!! woodork went for 2-1 to QPR in a superb call, whilst minxymartin and SydneyR also predicted a QPR win
Getting Toney as first scorer was a big source of points - stoatey, Rosco Bosco, jalfrezi, MCM Hoop, kingfisher, CutePR, LurkR, Ghost, ranger-boy and myself all got 6 points. SydneyR, ashqpr, onenightfever, minxymartin, QPRBex and woodork also had Austin for a back up point
kingfisher, woodork, MCM Hoop, QPRBex, Ghost, CutePR, jalfrezi, ranger-boy, SydneyR and qprallan all got the 16-30 first goal time
stoatey, onenightfever, minxymartin, ranger-boy and woodork got Barnsley's 2-1 win in the bonus match correct
It was the 3rd highest scoring round of the season as a result, with woodork getting his best ever score in his debut season, picking up 13 points. Unfortunately for woodork he still looks certain to get negative points for the start of Phase 3 but he is closer to kingfisher and stoatey.
onenightfever is 17 points clear of 3rd place and it will take an unlikely set of results to deny him a first ever promotion. But below him MaxQPR stays 2nd but with SydneyR scoring 7 and jalfrezi getting a big 10, there is now a huge fight on for the final promotion place with 4 points covering 4 players with 2 games to go.
Incredibly in Phase 1 44 points would have been enough for promotion and now that would already be in the bottom 3!
In Division 1 there was drama at the bottom with minxymartin climbing out of the bottom 3 at the expense of qprallan. qprallan has never been relegated but is now 2 points behind ashqpr and minxy in the fight to avoid the drop. surrey chad forgot to enter so is all but relegated, whilst QPRBex needs a big score to jump to safety.
LurkR and ranger-boy are probably just about safe but will be nervous if anybody below scores big! ranger-boy scored 12 at just the right time after only picking up 3 points in the previous 6 games.
At the top Ghost moves above MCM Hoop on goal difference after scoring 10 points. CutePR stays 2 points clear in the battle to see who gets 10, 8 or 6 points for the start of the final phase.
