Complete carnage this week. Only 4 players got any predictions right and only 14 points scored in total - the 2nd lowest total ever in this competition. The lowest was 12 in week 19 last season.
The reason for this was that the obvious results predicted by virtually everyone didn't happen. Everton didn't beat Burnley (predicted by 13). Wycombe didn't lose to Preston (11). Other popular predictions also failed: Arsenal didn't lose to Spurs (6) and Forest didn't lose to Reading (5).
The few correct predictions were as follows. qprallan got Middlesbrough's win v Stoke and the Forest / Reading draw for 5 points and top score. ashqpr, SydneyR and jimjams got Palace's win over West Brom with a joker for 3 points each. And that's it.
Those 3 points lift jimjams from 4th to 2nd, behind northwesthoop on just goal difference. Our long-time leader, Rosco Bosco, got his 3rd straight 0 and drops to 3rd. Rosco is having a bit of a Liverpool season: no zero's for 20 rounds and now 3 in a row.
SydneyR and ashqpr move up 1 place and 2 places respectively to 6th and 7th.
qprallan moves from 11th up to 9th.
Last time we had a week this bad, it was followed by a huge week with 8 players getting a maximum score of 8. Let's move on quickly and hope for a repeat of that. Week 24 is available to enter, which is the last round before the international break.
